With an eclectic experience gained from working as a business development manager, an estate agency director and a product designer (applying for patents) to then becoming a teacher and progressing to be a member of the leadership team, a school governor and a self-titled 'enterprise lead' as I looked to embed my entrepreneurial spirit and commercial awareness within a MAT and look for opportunities to bring in additional revenue.

 

After teaching for 11 years, I then joined the largest community lettings provider and became their Client Partnership Manager, looking after a portfolio of schools, assessing scope at new sites and delivering bids/tenders for new contracts whilst also working with a modular building company as their National Sales Manager within the education sector- helping them to create and launch new modular options aimed at the education sector.

Having seen the pressures schools are under due to ever-decreasing budgets,  and being asked to speak at events to Headteachers and SBM's, the next progressive step was to start Schelevate. The main desire of Schelevate is to help schools create and implement entrepreneurial ideas that start putting them back in control of their budgets.
